Park And Activity

We took the boat from the Boardwalk to the International Gateway. This is very nice, a great way to get there. We stopped at the store right by the boat dock, and found a nice jacket for Debbie and a t-shirt of Epcot that I liked.
Again, we just made it to Epcot for lunch. We had Nick pull fast pass for Test Track on way over. Although it was about 11:30, the fast pass was for 6:20.
We had lunch at the Coral Reef. Honestly, it was mediocre. the selection of seafood is not great. We all 3 had prime rib. We had appetizers; I had crab claws, which were quite good, Debbie had shrimp cocktail. For desert, we had 2 creme brulle and Nick a chocolate wave. The prime rib was just ok, but it was really good cremen brulle.
We went on Journey Into Your Imagination right after lunch. I have decieded it is not bad, a cutish ride. Of course, we still miss the original. It was such a classic.
We then did Honey I Shrunk The Audience. It had a horribly long wait. It was more than an hour. This is great show, which holds up very well. There were no special reactions from people around me, so I think there were no first timers, but everyone seems to enjoy this show. The special effects are still very very good.
We took the boat down to other side of World Showcase. The boat just runs from the gate to Morocco now. If you are in a hurry, walk. But I guess this saves energy. Its kind of neat little ride.
We walked by Morocco, and took some pictures. We stopped in the big Japanese store, just looking around at toys, books, and sundries. Nick bought some candy, that was it.
I really love that American Adventure show. I really find it uplifting now. Nick likes this very much also. We got there just in time.
It was rainy and dismal all day. This does not make for great pictures, and it wears you out a bit. But, better here than Magic Kingdom, if it is going to rain. Debbie gave up, and went back to the room. Nick and I stayed, and met up with Debbie for dinner later.
Nic and I looked at the model train in Germany for a while. We went into Germany, walked around, and bought some pretzels on the snack plan. They were good pretzels, pretty darn big. We stopped by China. The were working on the Temple of the Heavens. The other stuff was accessible, though.
The Chinese acrobats were performing inside one of the buildings. This was probably due to the weather. The lighting made pictures really tough. It was a great show, though, especially the girls on the balancing beams.
The circlevision presentation is a nice show about China. It is a bit different than what I remember. This had great photography, and a nice cultural overview. I remember something more propagandist, but that was a while ago.
We went to norway, and got a fast pass because it was only a half hour away, and the wait was like an hour. Go fig. We then went to Mexico.
I cant believe we did the Mexican ride. Sorry, but this one is cheesy. There are some nice elements, but it just comes off feeling cheap.
We back to Norway, and went right onto Maelstrom with our fast pass. This is still a fun little ride. I ended up feeling pretty good. We watched the Norway travel film as well. It is not bad, but I think Chinas is better.
We walked down for our fast pass finally on Test Track. Debbie just did not use hers. We went right in. We worried about the weather, but it went off ok.
We had a perfect ride, everything working. This was loads of fun. We still really enjoy this ride, and the cool damp night air was fun at the end, with the zooming around. There was a chatty woman next to me, because Debbie was not there.
So, we went for one last time on Spaceship Earth. This remains a very inspirational ride. It makes you think about how tightly we are woven together now, playing games with people in other states and countries.
We walked down to the Rose and Crown, and met Debbie. For most of the week, if we came early, we got in early, but that never happens at the Rose and Crown. We were about 15 minutes late getting in.
The sat us inside, but we snuck out at Illuminations time and got to sit on the lower balcony, which was too wet to serve dinner on. Debbie chose to stay near our inside table and look out the window. Nick and I had very very good table right next to the rail. We enjoyed the show very much. It leaves you with a lump.
I had the shrimp cocktail, which was very good, and bangers and mash, which I really enjoyed. Debbie had the steak, which she liked, and the mushroom medley which she enjoyed very much. We each had the apple crisp, which we very much liked. Nick had the fruit and cheese plate, which he enjoyed and steak also, which he liked.
We had a neat trip home by boat. So nice when coming from the Rose and Crown, which is so close to the dock. I spen a bit of time in the hot tub, worked on my pictures and trip report notes. Then it was off to bed.

A very very good last day at Epcot, for quite a while.
