Epcot

This is not the best trip report I have ever done, but I simply had to get something finally finished and posted. Enjoy!

Boat to mk, resort mono to ttc mono to epcot. Takes a while, but more fun.

10:00 at park

Perfect weather

Spaceship Earth had a long line, about 20 minutes.

I miss the old Spaceship Earth. This is enjoyable, but message is muddy. Ending is dumb. Looks like 1950s.

We did not do any other things in this building.

Soaring fp for 6:12, got at 11:00

Energy fast on still a good ride

Boat to Germany walk to Japan

Color guard on the way

No wait for lunch

Great meal!! Good chef show. Steak and shrimp, California rolls

Chef at Teppan Edo was a superstar. Funny and colorful. Great food, great performance.

Voices of liberty Christmas music. Very special.

American adventure still a great show. Film at end expanded.

Back on boat from Germany.

Innoventions stormstruck good little 3d show and quiz. Fun. Did not do much else in innoventions

We all 3 did Finding Nemo. Only screens until end. End has images in real tank. Cute but not over and over.

Fish tanks after. Occasinal dolphin. Ray, turtles, big fish divers.

Soaring wonderful, best ride of the day.

Fp worked great.

Jiyi no line, cars not even full. When soaring standby said 150 minutes. Go fig.

Still cute, worth doing. Miss original. Most people probably don't remember now.

Hista walk on. Still great show. My feet effects weak.

To Mexico San angel innSan Angel Inn. Just OK. All 3 had sirloin con chile relleno. Nothing traditional on menu (found out they have no tortillas in the resteraunt). You can argue about authentic, but is this what people expect? Three out of five entrees on the menu were seafood dishes. $40 a person, not counting tip, but we had deserts. Flan was very good, Nick and Debbie each had white mousse with berries. Not a good value, overall, but the resteraunt prices have gone sky high the past few years. It was only about five years ago that a bill of $100 for the three of us was a big surprise. Service and atmosphere were good, though.

Using rewards card until it is burned up for meals this trip. Avoiding dining plan, was disappointed in it last time.

All of the old popular photo spots now have Disney photographers with tripods in front of them, and it is nearly impossible to get pictures from these iconic views yourself. We have lost something.

Monorail to TTC, then to MK, then boat launch back. Even Debbie said it was better, felt less stressful (but there is some extra walking involved). I like it a lot more--not thrilled about riding the bus if I can avoid it.

Debbie called about the hot tub in the morning, and it was fixed when we got home at night. Debbie used it to soothe some of her aches and pains. It is definitely not large enough for two, like the one at OKW.

Overall, we like the accomodations at OKW much better. This is a nice room, but smaller, and OKW seems a little more on the ball.
