Epcot

This is not the best trip report I have ever done, but I simply had to get something finally finished and posted. Enjoy!

It was downright chilly most of the day. It was dry, though.

Extreemly late leaving room. 11:40. Took bus to studios, boat to Epcot. Both slower and less fun.

Especially since the bus driver got lost, and went the wrong way. It took an hour to get from the room to the studios.

Boat ride from studios to epcot was pleasant. Much nicer than a stupid bus.

1:34 total to epcot. Walked to Italy fast as possible. Late for reservation, but seated quickly.

Food at tutta italia was good, service was not. Had to ask for bread (never got olive oil or butter), asked twice for water, neber refilled dronks, out of gnocchi. Portions also pretty small. The lasagna and canoli were quite tasty, though. Debbie had tira misu, I had (desert) canoli, Nick something. All were very good.

There was a time when this place was amazing . Once the best meal of the trip. Of course, that was when it was Alfredos.

Boat from Germany back to Future World. A little shopping at place by bridge.

Ate almonds sitting on bridge under monorail.

Test track 80 minute wait.

This is still a very good ride. Nice and fast. The in vehicle screen did not work at all, though.

Mission space said 50 minutes.

Actually, 37 minutes. This is an awfully fun ride. Not very rough at all.

Se again. Enjoyable ride, even though it is weaker then it used to be.
Walked over to UK. Enjoyed Off Kilter and the British Invasion.

Dinner at The Rose And Crown. Great meal. Sat on patio under heat lamps. Nice little Scottish waitress, encouraged us to stay for Illuminations.

Illuminations is a wonderful show. The view from Rose And Crown is blocked by a tin roof now. But, the fire barges and the globe are magnificent.

Nick and I had the bangers and mash. I thought it was very, very good. Nick liked the sausage, but actually did not care for the garnish or the potatoes. Nick and Debbie split a meat and cheese sampler as an apetizer, which they said was good. I had a cup of potato and leek soup, which was excellent. Debbie and I each had a slice of lemon pie, which was outstanding. Nick had the scotch cake, which he enjoyed.
Illuminations was a wonderful, wonderful show. We all enjoyed it a great deal.
Came back via monorail and boat, much nicer than taking the bus on the way there.
