Well, this was our first trip to Disney World during the holidays.
Debbie has joked that we our goal is to be there every season of the year.
We've been there in the midst of the summer, and in late and early spring,
but this was our first holiday trip. We were there for the last few
days of December. We weren't there for Christmas, but were there
for New Year's Eve, and that was quite an experience! Overall, it
was something special to be there when the World was drenched in the holiday
spirit. To see the parks and the resorts bedecked in Holiday trappings,
and of course, seeing the Osbourne lights, made for a week not to be forgotten.
It was just the three of us (Debbie, Nick and Joe) on this trip. It was also the first time we had along our new camcorder and our laptops (then, why did the webpage take so long?) So, we got an enormous amount of photos (because we could empty the digital camera every night), and some really good video clips. We'll try to share some of these treasures on this page also. There is a link below to each of the ten days of our trip report, plus a "day 0" which provides a better introduction. Day 10 has some retrospective on what the whole trip was like.
