RMNAAFA had some great pool parties in 2004, including the one on August 21, to bid a found farewell to the summer. We had kind of wet cool season this year, but the weather for the pool party was really near perfect. We had a great time, revisiting some of our old activities, and doing some things we had not done before. We also had a chance to see some old friends, and share good food, good conversations, and good times.
We took this opportunity to share some birthday wishes with our friends. |
Check out the new glassees on one of the birthday girls! |
Pattis birthday meant a new friend would follow her home. |
No, Nick, that's Pattis penguin. It is not leaving with you. |
Hmm. Maybe not would I would say in a birthday card. |
Debbie came ready to do some photo cropping. |
Meanwhile, Angela just wanted to play with the pretty pens. |
And Maggie was happy to admire Pattis handiwork with photos from old chapter events. |
Overall, the photo cropping and looking back on our old memories was a big hit. |
Something was different about this guy, but we are not sure what it is. |
Believe it or not, in some of the old pictures, Nick is shorter than Jeff. And Angela. And Patti. And his mom. Well, you get the idea. |
We also got to sit around and just catch up with some old friends that we had not seen for a while, and enjoy a great pot luck. |
And we did get in a fun game or two. |
Oh yeah, it was a pool party. See, there was a pool! Seriously, there were people in it earlier in the day. |
I remember, because the kids were bugging everyone with super soakers. |
But, in the evening, most everyone came in to just kick back and relax. |
Well, you know, if Jeff would let them. |
