This was our first trip to Disney World during the Halloween
season. Debbie has joked that we our goal is to be there every season
of the year. We've been there in the midst of the summer, and in late
and early spring, and even around the Christmas Holiday, but this was our
first October trip. We were there for during the second half of October.
We weren't there for Halloween, but did attend Mickey's Not So Scary
Halloween Party, and that was quite an experience! We also made it
over to Universal Studios for their Halloween Horror Nights. Overall,
it was something special to be in this magical place when there is a little
extra eerie magic in the air. I have always gotten a big kick out of
Halloween, and this trip was a chance to really indulge. Nearly perfect
weather and fairly light crowds, made for a wonderful week of slightly spooky
fun. It was just the three of us (Debbie, Nick and Joe) on this trip.
It was the first time we had a one bedroom at Old Key West. These
accomodations were amazing, and I'll be ranting about those. There is a link below to each of the ten days of our trip report, plus a "day 0" which provides a better introduction.
